Cranberry Basil Pesto


  • 1 block Cream Cheese, Goat Cheese or Brie
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 cup Cran-raisins
  • ¾ oz. pkg. Basil
  • ¼ cup toasted walnuts
  • ¼ tsp. red pepper flakes
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup minced Italian parsley
  • ¼ cup Basil Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp. capers (extra for garnish if desired)
  • Lemon Olive Oil to finish


Pulse garlic in food processor until finely diced. Add Cran-raisins, basil, walnuts, red pepper flakes, and capers. Pulse until blended but chunky. Place in a bowl, stir in parmesan cheese, parsley, and basil olive oil. Blend well. Serve over block of cream cheese. Drizzle lemon olive oil over the top. Serve with crackers.
